Process - Tuesday Week 1

Understand, Ideate Define

We got quite alot of information in the first two days, we were introduced to Koha, what it means and how it will influence our design thoughts and outcomes for this paper. We also got introduced to the brief and all of the specs that we will be designing.

In the first lesson we did an exercise using the Simpsons, and that we had to think about how each character would be interested in the topics, or how we could make them interested depending on their personalities and likes. Then at the end of the lesson we had our pair choices. (Lucas and Azzy)
The second lesson we got into our pairs to finalize the topic we were going to go with
 - Coffee Break
After discussing for a while we quite easily agreed on doing the 'Coffee break' as the focus for the chosen 'event'. But then spent a while on choosing a particular audience. We both decided that choosing the audience first was a good step for us because the style would then depend on which audience we chose.
We narrowed it down to 

       -Gamers
       -Artists
       -Housewives/ Mothers
With the help of the tutors we finally chose Artists, we both thought that we could do equally interesting designs that we could both contribute to. We spent a lot of time understanding the brief and working through ideas to generate a project plan that outlines our requirements, objectives, audience and background of the brief, this was a key part to make sure that as a team we were on the same page, and shows our client that we know what is being asked of us. And so we came up with a quick idea that encompasses our ideas, to show the larger group.
